The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin, praised Oladipupo Adebutu’s substantial agricultural investments in a visit to Solomon Kesington Agro Allied Limited, a multi-billion-naira farm in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
Ogundoyin noted the initiative addresses hunger and generates hundreds of jobs while providing raw materials for industry. The courtesy visit included a tour of the processing plant, pig pens housing over 30,000 pigs, and a cattle ranch with over 3,000 cattle, among other facilities.
He highlighted the farm’s environmental friendliness and the dedication of workers, urging continued growth to sustain the multi-billion-naira operation and boost the economy across Ogun State and beyond. Accompanying the Speaker were Prof. Abraham Osinubi and Dr. Aliu Soyingbe, Dean and Sub-Dean of the University of Lagos School of Postgraduate Studies.
The delegation toured the facility, commending Adebutu for maintaining international standards on the farm, which aims to meet broad production needs while supporting local employment. The venture is described as a flagship effort in agricultural investment in the region.
