Regarding light, Begonia veitchii prefers bright, indirect illumination. Exposure to harsh, direct sunlight will quickly cause leaf scorching and irreversible damage to its foliage. A position with filtered morning light is often considered optimal for maintaining deep green leaf color and healthy growth.
