The larvae are legless, cylindrical, and reach up to 10 mm in length. They are creamy-white in color and feed primarily on the roots of host plants.
The life cycle consists of the egg, three larval instars, pupa, and adult stages. Overwintering occurs in the pupal stage deep within the soil profile.
