BEKOS

BEKOS is a perennial herbaceous plant developed by the North-Caucasus Institute of Mountain and Foreland Agriculture under the Latin name Coronilla varia L. The variety is intended for agronomic purposes: soil covering, improving its structure, reducing erosion, and increasing moisture resistance.

BEKOS is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, making it particularly valuable in the conditions of the North-Caucasian climate. Thanks to its perennial nature, the plant serves as an effective agro-technical cover, contributing to the accumulation of organic matter and improving soil fertility.

The variety is widely used as a cover crop in systems for soil covering and improving fertility, as well as as a fodder crop in agriculture. Its adaptation to the agro-climatic conditions of North Ossetia confirms the practical applicability of BEKOS in various agricultural projects.
