Tomato Rurik F1

Stable harvest of large-fruited tomatoes

"Rurik F1" by the Gavrish breeding company is a choice for those who value the balance between high productivity and marketable fruit quality. In the segment of determinate hybrids, it stands out due to its adaptability to moderate latitudes and resistance to key solanaceous pathogens.

The main asset of this hybrid is the combination of massive, heavy fruits (240–280 grams) with excellent transportability. Most determinate large-fruited varieties are prone to softness, making them difficult to transport for sale. Rurik lacks this disadvantage: the dense skin and flesh allow the harvest to be delivered to the point of sale without losing its commercial appearance.

Agronomic advantages

• Plant health: Genetic resistance to fusarium and verticillium reduces the burden of fungicide protection, making the hybrid more convenient for integrated farming systems.
• Maturation periods: With a maturation window of 99–105 days from germination, the variety reliably yields in conditions of a short summer.
• Fruit shape: The classic flat-round shape is traditionally in demand on the fresh market and in the retail segment.

Who should choose "Rurik F1"? First of all, farmers working in open fields or under film covers who need reliable "workhorses". It does not require excessive costs for disease control, and its fruits are ideal for the salad market, where the buyer values both size and the external gloss of a red tomato. If you are looking for a predictable hybrid for mass production that will not let you down during logistics, "Rurik F1" will be a logical tool in your arsenal.
