Tomato Polonais F1

Genetic Potential and Productivity

The Polonez F1 tomato from the Dutch breeding company Bejo is a determinate hybrid developed for intensive vegetable farming. A key feature of this hybrid is its high concentration of yield within a tight timeframe (90–100 days from transplanting). By maintaining a plant density of 25,000–30,000 plants/ha, the crop demonstrates impressive productivity, reaching 130–160 tons per hectare, making it an optimal choice for commercial production.

Agrotechnical Advantages

• Stress Tolerance: The genetic foundation provided by Bejo Zaden (NL-1749 ZH Warmenhuizen) ensures high resistance to key soil-borne pathogens. The plant comes with built-in immunity against Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt.
• Fruit Morphology: The round shape and 150–200 gram weight represent the market standard for fresh produce. The dense structure of the fruit guarantees excellent transportability, minimizing losses during long-distance logistics.
• Efficiency: The determinate growth type allows for effective vegetation management, simplifying maintenance and harvesting processes, which is crucial for large-scale operations.

Polonez F1 is a balanced solution for farmers focused on consistent results. The combination of high marketable yield and the ability to withstand dangerous fungal diseases helps reduce pesticide load while producing high-quality crops with ideal visual characteristics.
