Surya F1

Tomato Surya F1 is an early-maturing determinate hybrid with a plum-shaped fruit, developed by the Dutch company Hazera and also offered by Vilmorin. The plant features a low-growing, compact, upright bush up to 0.8 meters tall with good leaf cover, which protects the fruit and provides additional foliar feeding. This hybrid adapts well to various growing conditions, including cool weather and different soil types, making it suitable for open-field cultivation across Ukraine.

The fruits of Tomato Surya F1 have a rich red or crimson color, plum shape, and weigh between 100 to 180 grams depending on growing conditions. They are juicy, meaty, four-chambered, and resistant to cracking, ensuring high dry matter content. Due to their flavor and aroma, these tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and juice production.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including verticillium and fusarium wilt, nematodes, and tomato leaf spot virus (bronzing). The rapid maturation — fruits are ready for harvest within 60-65 days after transplanting seedlings or 75-85 days from germination — allows for stable and high yields even under stressful conditions. All these characteristics make Tomato Surya F1 a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners aiming for quality and productive cultivation.
