Sunflower NS H 7746 is a medium-early simple hybrid of Serbian selection with a vegetation period ranging from 102 to 115 days. This hybrid is characterized by high resistance to 7+ races of downy mildew (A-G+), providing reliable protection against parasitic plants. The seeds are black, medium-sized, and the plant reaches a height of up to 170 cm with a slender stem and 28-32 leaves, which promotes good growth and photosynthesis.
Hybrid NS H 7746 exhibits high drought resistance and resistance to major sunflower diseases such as fusarium, phomopsis, downy mildew, white mold, and rust. This makes it particularly suitable for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe regions of Ukraine, where climatic conditions may be variable. The yield potential reaches 55 ц/ha, and oil content in seeds ranges from 48 to 52%, making this sunflower primarily suitable for oil production. Protein content is 16-18%, further characterizing seed quality.
To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow all agronomic practices: soil preparation and loosening, use of mineral fertilizers, maintaining optimal moisture levels, and applying herbicide treatment technologies such as Granstar or Sumo. This comprehensive approach to cultivation ensures a stable and high yield, as well as maintaining plant health throughout the entire vegetation period.
