Lettuce type 'Oak Leaf' with very attractive light-green coloration. The plant is open, compact, with a well-formed center, thick leaves. It matures very early, distinguished by rapid leaf development — an excellent choice for early harvest. It has a long storage period. The variety is resistant to damage by lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri), to false powdery mildew of lettuce (Bremia lactucae)(strains 1-24), and to lettuce mosaic virus. The variety is tolerant to bolting and necrosis. Intended for cultivation in open ground during spring and autumn periods, and suitable for cultivation in protected ground during autumn-winter periods. Recommended planting density: 80,000 plants per hectare.
