Nabat

NABAT is a spring rape variety (Brassica napus var. napus) intended for seed production and feed purposes. It belongs to mid-season varieties with a vegetative period of 86-90 days and plant height ranging from 84 to 97 cm. The leaves are green, medium in length and width, with few lobes and weak serration. Pods are of medium size with a beak and a pedicel of medium length. The variety is moderately resistant to lodging and has low seed shattering on the plant. NABAT is characterized by high oil quality and technological properties, making it suitable for mechanized harvesting. The mass of 1000 seeds averages 3.04 g. The crude fat content in seeds varies from 36.9% to 45.0%, averaging 1.9% above the standard, while protein content reaches 23.7-29.3%. Glucosinolate content ranges from 0.57-0.59% (13-14 µmol/g), matching the standard level. Seed yield is about 9.2 c/ha, with a potential up to 30 c/ha, and green mass yield reaches 21 t/ha. The NABAT variety shows weak susceptibility to diseases such as alternaria, fusarium, and phoma, ensuring crop stability. It is recommended for cultivation in the Northwestern, Middle Volga, and Lower Volga regions, including the Leningrad, Lipetsk, Tula, Oryol regions, and the Udmurt Republic.
