Growth regulator for use on wheat and barley to prevent lodging. Provides stiffness and restrains stem growth in plants.
Cerone ® quickly penetrates the plant and accelerates ethylene biosynthesis in plant tissues. Ethylene, in turn, stimulates the synthesis of hard substances (lignin, cellulose).
The dynamics of biomass accumulation in plants changes, the ratio of straw to grain shifts in favor of the latter.
Cerone ® is a product for preventing plant lodging during ripening and vegetative growth. The product is developed based on phosphonate derivatives.
Cerone ® stimulates root system growth and restrains stem growth. The retardant effect occurs due to ethylene accumulation, leading to stem shortening and thickening of the second and third internodes, straw walls, and increased number of productive stems.
APPLICATION FEATURES
The ethylene-producing effect significantly depends on air temperature. The temperature range should be from +15 °C to +30 °C.
Selectivity
Cerone ® at recommended application rates is well tolerated by all varieties of the mentioned crops.
TOXICITY TO BEES. WATER BODY PROTECTION
At recommended application rates, the product is safe for bees. Do not allow the product and its residues, as well as empty containers and packaging, to enter water bodies.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
Recommended fine droplet spraying with a working solution application rate of 100-400 L/ha, depending on the type of field equipment: for example, flat-fan nozzles, liquid pressure 2.5-3 kg/cm², equipment speed 6-7 km/h.
ADVANTAGES
Prevents crop lodging.
Promotes increased yield.
Stimulates root system growth.
Provides favorable conditions for harvest.
Prevents barley spike breakage.
Cerone ® can be mixed with many insecticides and systemic fungicides. Exceptions are products based on dithiocarbamates, sulfur, and copper.
