Ripening accelerator for use on tomatoes. Facilitates mechanical harvesting and provides harvest meeting quality standards.
Etrell ® belongs to so-called ethylene producers. The active ingredient quickly penetrates into the plant and breaks down in its tissues to form ethylene. Ethylene, in turn, inhibits the action of growth plant hormones — gibberellins — and stimulates the synthesis of solid substances (lignin, pigments, sugars, etc.). The dynamics of biomass accumulation in the plant shifts towards fruits.
Etrell ® — a product for accelerating tomato ripening to facilitate mechanical harvesting and increase harvest uniformity.
The product is developed on the basis of phosphonic acid derivatives. Etrell ® causes ethylene accumulation in plants, leading to cessation of growth, accelerated coloring, and accumulation of dry matter.
APPLICATION
Tomatoes — 2.5-3.5 L / ha
Spraying when 5-15% of ripe and ripening fruits (green, brown, and pink) and 50-65% green set fruits are present.
Max. number of applications: 1
Pre-harvest interval: 10 days
APPLICATION FEATURES
The effect of ethylene producers depends significantly on air temperature. The temperature range should be from +12 °C to +30 °C.
It is recommended to use the maximum dose at temperatures below +16 °C. Resistance to wash-off is achieved 4-5 hours after application.
Selectivity
Etrell ® at recommended application rates may occasionally cause local yellowing of leaves. However, it does not affect yield.
TOXICITY TO BEES. WATER BODY PROTECTION
At recommended application rates, the product is safe for bees. Do not allow the product and its residues, as well as empty containers and packaging, to enter water bodies.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
It is recommended to spray with a working solution application rate of 300-600 L / ha for optimal plant coverage.
ADVANTAGES
Promotes increased yield and equalizes its quality.
Provides favorable conditions for mechanical harvesting.
Etrell ® cannot be mixed with products based on dithiocarbamates, sulfur, and copper.
Check compatibility of the working solution before preparation!
