Herbicide Simba is a soil pre-emergence agent designed for effective control of annual grass and some broadleaf weeds in sugar beet, soy, corn, sunflower, rapeseed, and cabbage crops. The active ingredient is S-metolachlor at 960 g/L, released as an emulsifiable concentrate. Simba is applied by treating the soil before seeding or before crop seedlings emerge, ensuring reliable plant protection during early development stages.
The herbicide's action is based on the active substance penetrating the stem of grass weed seedlings and cotyledons of broadleaf weeds, leading to delayed cotyledon emergence, seedling twisting, and death. The protective period lasts up to 8-10 weeks, preventing a second wave of grass weeds and ensuring long-term crop cleanliness. The working solution rate is 200-400 L/ha, and the product application rate ranges from 1.2 to 1.6 L/ha.
Herbicide Simba is distinguished by its high efficiency and safety for subsequent crops in crop rotation, without restricting their cultivation. The product has Class III toxicity and can be used in tank mixes with other herbicides, expanding its application for comprehensive crop protection. Packaging is available in 5 and 10-liter cans, convenient for various agricultural production scales.
