DK Exima Rapeseed is a mid-season hybrid selection of Dekalb, featuring high yield potential up to 60 centners/ha and increased seed oil content. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability and stable yield across all climatic zones of Ukraine, making it a universal choice for various agroclimatic conditions. Thanks to intensive branching and resistance to pod cracking, DK Exima ensures reliable yield retention even under stress conditions such as drought or cold winters.
The hybrid is characterized by very high winter hardiness, allowing successful cultivation in colder regions. It also exhibits high drought tolerance and resistance to phomopsis and other significant stem diseases, which helps reduce yield losses and improve quality. Rapid autumn development and good suitability for late sowing make DK Exima adaptable to various sowing dates, including early (August 10–20), optimal (August 20–30), and late (August 30–September 10).
Recommended seeding rates vary depending on sowing dates: 350–400 thousand seeds/ha for early sowing, 350–450 thousand seeds/ha for optimal sowing, and 400–500 thousand seeds/ha for late sowing. This flexibility in seeding rate allows agronomists to effectively plan sowing and achieve maximum productivity. High oil content in seeds and resistance to lodging make DK Exima a valuable choice for producers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality rapeseed harvest.
