Tomato variety Geronimo F1 is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid with a vegetative period of about 70-75 days from seedling transplanting. The plant features a balanced generative type, moderate leafiness, and high growth rate. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and inflorescences are intermediate. Geronimo exhibits excellent resistance to low temperatures, allowing cultivation under various climatic conditions, including extreme hot and cold periods. Tomato fruits have a flattened-round shape, dense and slightly ribbed, with a weight ranging from 140 to 250 grams depending on growing conditions. Immature fruits are green, and ripe ones turn into a deep red color. Tomatoes have an excellent market appearance, outstanding taste, high transportability, and storability. The variety is resistant to cracking and diseases such as fusarium, cladosporiosis, verticillium, tobacco mosaic virus, and blossom end rot, significantly enhancing its reliability and yield. Geronimo is recommended for cultivation in extended cropping systems, both in small-volume and soil cultures, including greenhouses and plastic tunnels. For optimal yield formation, it is recommended to form clusters with 4-5 fruits. The variety is well-suited for hydroponic systems and protected soil. To enhance resistance and productivity in heated greenhouses, use the rootstock Maxifort F1; in plastic tunnels, use the rootstock Buefort F1.
