Description NS H 6593
NS H 6593 is a simple mid-early sunflower hybrid with high genetic yield potential, reaching over 45 centners per hectare. Plants are of medium height with strong stems and moderately deep root systems, providing good drought resistance and promoting intensive early growth. The hybrid’s head is well-formed and convex, with medium-sized seeds having 48-50% oil content and 23-25% linolenic acid. NS H 6593 exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew due to gene R16, downy mildew (7 races A-G), fomopsis, various fungal diseases, leaf and stem spots, as well as root and stem white rot. Additionally, it shows strong tolerance to pests and can withstand prolonged drought, making it particularly valuable for cultivation in arid regions. NS H 6593 is adapted to various agroecological conditions in Ukraine and is suitable for conventional cultivation methods. The hybrid demonstrates stable yield performance in forest-steppe, central, and southern steppe zones, with recommended plant density at harvest ranging from 45 to 60 thousand plants per hectare depending on region. Due to its broad adaptability and stress resistance, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
