Plants are characterized by intensive early growth, medium height, and strong stems. The hybrid's head is well-formed and very convex, with medium-sized seeds. This hybrid exhibits good drought resistance and attractiveness to pollinating insects, contributing to stable yield formation.

Hybrid NS H 6589 has high resistance to major pests and diseases. It is genetically resistant to false powdery mildew and rust (A-F+). Additionally, the hybrid shows high resistance to rust and sunflower moth. It also demonstrates high tolerance to pathogens such as Phoma, Macrophomina, leaf and stem spot pathogens, and white mold in both root and stem forms.

To achieve optimal yield, it is recommended to follow specific planting densities: in forest-steppe zone — 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, in central steppe — 50-55 thousand, and in southern, dry steppe — 45-50 thousand plants per hectare.
