Description Monreal F1
  • Early maturing hybrid, cornichon type.
  • Period from germination to first fruit maturity 40-42 days.
  • Strong plant. 2-3 cylindrical, genetically non-bitter green fruits with white spines form at one node, length to width ratio 3:1.
  • Fruits slow down growth upon reaching market size of 6-9 cm.
  • Yield in open ground is 1000-1200 c/ha, 20-25 kg/sq.m in protected ground, 12-15 kg/sq.m on home plots.
  • Marketable product yield 95-97 %.
  • Resistant to Cladosporium, moderately resistant to powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus.
