Kamchatka F1 — main, medium-maturing, high-yielding, bee-pollinated hybrid with female flowering type. Characterized by high shade tolerance, strong growth, intensive fruiting on the main stem. Branching is weak. 1-2 fruits form at each node. Since intensive fruiting suppresses lateral branch growth, nighttime air temperature must be maintained in a 'pulsing' mode: 2 weeks at 16-18°C, next 2 weeks at 19-21°C, and so on throughout the fruiting period. Cucumbers are straight, 17-20 cm long, intensely green, without whitening, white, complex, sparse hairs. The hybrid has low yield of non-standard products. Resistant to olive spot, common cucumber mosaic virus, tolerant to root rots.
