Manitou MT 932

Engineering Architecture of Manitou MT

The Manitou MT telehandler series was engineered as a versatile tool for operations in confined spaces under heavy load conditions. Unlike the agricultural MLT range, the MT series focuses on precision and structural durability, essential for material handling on construction sites or demanding farm storage facilities.

Powertrain and Hydraulics

At the core of the machine lies a robust diesel engine delivering high torque at low RPM. A key technical feature is the hydrostatic transmission, which ensures smooth movement and precise load placement. Combined with oil-immersed multi-disc brakes, this system provides superior safety when operating on slopes or during emergency stops with the boom fully extended.

Key Structural Nodes

• High-Rigidity Boom: Constructed from high-tensile steel with minimized weld lines at critical stress points, allowing the boom to maintain geometry under maximum outreach.
• Frame Leveling System: Compensates for uneven surfaces to maintain the load's verticality, significantly reducing the risk of tipping.
• Ergonomic Controls: The JSM (Joystick Switch and Move) system allows the operator to control all boom functions and travel direction with one hand, drastically reducing fatigue during a full shift.

The practical value of the Manitou MT lies in its adaptability: the quick-attach interface for various implements—including forks, buckets, and lifting hooks—transforms the loader into a comprehensive material handling powerhouse.
