Claas Scorpion

Claas Scorpion is a series of telescopic handlers with lifting capacities ranging from 3,300 to 6,000 kg and maximum lift heights from 6.23 to 9.75 m. The line includes VARIPOWER, VARIPOWER PLUS Generation 2, and NIGHT EDITION variants for models 733, 742, 756, and 960.

All models in the series are equipped with a four-cylinder turbocharged engine with four valves per cylinder, producing either 105 kW / 143 hp or 115 kW / 156 hp. The drive type is fully automatic continuously variable hydrostatic VARIPOWER. In VARIPOWER specification, maximum speed is 40 km/h; automatic deactivation of vibration damping occurs at 7 km/h. The tool holder locking bolt diameter is 50 mm. In VARIPOWER PLUS specification, the hydraulic motor swivel angle is 45° and the second variable motor swivel angle is 32°.
