Lemken Diamant 11

When plowing stops being a struggle

On heavy clay or parched chernozem, the Lemken Diamant feels right at home. Transferring the plow's weight onto the tractor's rear axle genuinely reduces wheel slip. When you’re working on large acreages, this saves not just fuel, but also tire life—and given current tire prices, that's a massive win.

Operational insights

• Turnover mechanism: It works like a clock. The smooth rotation without jerking protects the tractor’s frame and hydraulics. After three seasons, there’s no significant play in the components.
• Adjustments: Everything is adjustable on the fly without needing a wrench or a crowbar. Changing the working width is quick, which is critical when weather windows are shrinking to just a couple of days.
• Wear parts: The legs and chisels hold up honestly. The metal tempering is solid; even in rocky patches, you rarely see chipping.

Maintenance and field repair

Grease points are logically placed; you don't need acrobatic skills to reach them. If something breaks in the field, the design is open, and all bolt connections are easily accessible. One thing to keep in mind: the plow is heavy, so you need a tractor with plenty of power in reserve to use the Diamant, otherwise the fuel efficiency benefits of the traction boost are lost. This machine is for those who value time and want to solve the problem of primary tillage once and for all, without endless re-tweaking or welding the frame back together.
