Action Mechanics and Soil Mobility

The suspension concentrate formulation ensures the stability of the active ingredient in the spray solution. As a soil herbicide, UNI-PROM 500, SC creates a "protective screen" in the top layer of the soil. Its efficacy directly depends on soil moisture and the quality of seedbed preparation: the fewer large soil clods, the more uniform the distribution of the product and the higher the level of control over broadleaf and grassy annual weeds.

Selectivity and Application Practice

A key advantage of the product is its selectivity. Due to the high rate of detoxification in crops (soybean, sunflower, coriander, carrot, peas, beans), prometryn does not inhibit their development when the regulations are followed. It is essential to consider that the dosage of 2–4 L/ha should be adjusted based on soil type: minimal rates are applied on light sandy soils, while maximum rates are used on heavy loams and chernozems with high humus content.
