The active ingredient, Tribenuron-methyl, is a systemic herbicide belonging to the sulfonylurea class. It works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, effectively halting cell division and leading to the rapid decay of sensitive weeds. By integrating «Alfalip Extra», the efficacy of the spray is significantly enhanced; this surfactant reduces the surface tension of the droplet, ensuring better coverage and penetration through the waxy cuticles of weeds, even in challenging environmental conditions.

The system is specifically designed to manage a broad range of agricultural pests that compete with sunflower plants, including:

• Ambrosia artemisiifolia (Common ragweed);

The application protocol limits the product to one treatment per season. With an application rate of Alfalip Extra between 0.5 and 2.0 L/ha, growers can ensure maximum absorption of the herbicide.
