Practically, this means halting lipid synthesis in the meristematic tissues of grass weeds: the product blocks the construction of cell membranes, leading to the death of the growth point within days of application.

Technical Aspects of Application

The emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation is designed to provide superior adhesion to leaf surfaces, which is critical for a systemic herbicide that must penetrate the cuticle rapidly. The foliar application method allows for targeted control of emerged weeds without affecting soil biota.
