"Jin, TB" is a fumigant based on aluminum phosphide (560 g/kg) that shifts pest control into the gas phase. Unlike contact insecticides, this product relies on a controlled reaction with atmospheric moisture. Upon exposure to air, the tablets actively release hydrogen phosphide (phosphine). This gas possesses extremely high penetrating power, allowing it to permeate all voids in grain bulks, reaching pests in the most inaccessible areas.

Technical Aspects of Fumigation

• Working Concentration: Phosphine effectively impacts pests at all developmental stages, including larvae and pupae hidden deep inside the grain kernels.
• Physical State: The tablet formulation ensures an optimal decomposition rate. The product does not act instantaneously, providing the operator with the necessary time to seal the storage facility or grain pile.
• Minimal Impact: When applied according to regulations, residues of aluminum phosphide after exposure and subsequent aeration do not affect the technological properties of the grain or its further processing.

Safety and Operational Regulations

The product is classified as a Hazard Class 1 substance. This imposes strict requirements on personnel: only technicians trained in handling highly toxic fumigants are permitted to apply it. The internal design of the "Jin, TB" tablet is engineered to delay gas release during the initial hours—a critical protective feature for the operator to prevent inhalation of high concentrations during the application process.

Efficacy against weevils, mites, moths, and grain beetles is achieved by maintaining the required phosphine concentration within a hermetically sealed volume throughout the entire exposure period. The key success factor here is not only the dosage but also the quality of the storage site's isolation.
