AGROACETOCHLOR, CE is a systemic soil-applied herbicide designed to suppress weeds before they emerge from the soil. The active ingredient, acetochlor, inhibits protein and nucleic acid synthesis within the meristematic tissues of weed seedlings. This results in the disruption of cell division and stops plant growth at the germination stage. Due to its selective nature, the product is safe for crops when planted at the recommended depth.

Formulation and Technical Features

The Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) formulation ensures excellent stability of the spray solution and uniform distribution over the soil surface. Upon application, the product creates a protective "barrier" in the top 3–5 cm of soil, which is the critical zone for controlling annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in corn, soybean, and sunflower fields. Its systemic nature allows for efficient absorption through the coleoptile (in grasses) and hypocotyl (in broadleaf weeds), providing long-lasting residual control.
