Systemic herbicide for the control of annual broadleaf and grass weeds on soybean, potato, tomato, and alfalfa crops.
Formulation: water-soluble granules
Active ingredient: metribuzin, 700 g/kg
Packaging: 1 kg bottle.
Mode of action:
Systemic herbicide that is absorbed both through the leaves and the soil. Once absorbed by the leaves and root system, metribuzin inhibits photosynthesis in weed plants. The product kills weeds that have already emerged, as well as those that are germinating. The herbicide film formed on the soil ensures crop cleanliness for 1-2 months, unless disturbed by inter-row soil cultivation or heavy rainfall after application.
Hazard class: 3.
Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture, when stored in sealed factory packaging.
Storage temperature: from 0°C to +35°C.
Advantages of use:
Highly effective against annual broadleaf weeds and most common annual grass weeds in agricultural crops;
can be applied to seedlings and vegetative plants (potato, alfalfa, tomatoes);
long-lasting protective effect (1-2 months);
early weed control provides favorable conditions for crop development;
in recommended application rates, the product is safe for bees.
Application specifics:
Soybean crops should be treated before crop emergence;
potato can be treated before or after emergence, when plant height is 5-10 cm;
do not perform inter-row soil cultivation after herbicide application;
apply the product at recommended rates;
do not allow herbicide residues to enter water bodies;
application rate varies depending on soil type for pre-emergence treatments:
a) on light soils — 0.5-0.7 kg/ha; b) on medium soils — 0.7-1.0 kg/ha; c) on heavy soils — 1.0-1.5 kg/ha.
