Alyett — systemic protective fungicide. It rapidly penetrates into the plant and moves both downward and upward. It affects the germination of fungal spores and blocks further spread of disease. The preparation also enhances the plant's protective properties against infection penetration.
Cucumbers are often unexpectedly attacked by diseases such as downy mildew or peronosporosis, caused by the fungus Peronospora cubensis. This disease develops under very hot and humid conditions. Peronosporosis appears as round or quadrangular yellow-brown spots, covered on the underside with a gray-purple film. In severe cases, leaves become brittle, affected tissue falls off, and the leaf becomes loose or leaves only the stem.
Hops are very sensitive to downy mildew, caused by Pseudoperonospora humili. This is the most damaging disease for hops, especially dangerous for leaf surfaces. Therefore, hop growers require significant numbers of treatments annually. To ensure reliable protection for hop varieties most susceptible to disease, they must be treated more than 15 times during the season using traditional contact fungicides.
Onion is also affected by downy mildew (Peronospora destructor) and requires multiple applications of traditional fungicides.
Recommended working solution volume
400-600 l / ha (for hops 1000-3000 l / ha, depending on hop yard vegetative mass).
COMPATIBILITY
Do not mix Alyett® with copper-based preparations or nitrogen fertilizers for foliar applications. Other mixtures require compatibility testing. Preparation of working solution: Add the required amount of the preparation to a tank of water. Allow the solution to stand for a while before mixing to allow the preparation to be fully absorbed by water, then thoroughly mix to obtain a homogeneous working solution. Remember that Alyett® is a preventive agent that enhances plant defense functions against pathogens. Therefore, the first application should be done in advance. In the worst case, Alyett® should be applied upon the first signs of plant disease.
