"Cabrio Duo" by Basf S.A. is a combined fungicide where technical efficiency is achieved through a combination of two molecules with fundamentally different modes of action. Dimethomorph belongs to the morpholine group and acts systemically, inhibiting the formation of the fungal cell wall. Pyraclostrobin, from the strobilurin class, provides contact and locally systemic action by blocking mitochondrial respiration in the pathogen's cells.

Technical Potential of the Formulation

The synergy of systemic and contact properties allows not only for halting disease development but also for creating a protective screen on the leaf surface that is resistant to wash-off by precipitation. This solution is critical for crops prone to late blight, downy mildew, and early blight (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions). The suspension concentrate is easy to dose and forms a stable emulsion when mixed with water, minimizing the risk of sprayer nozzle clogging.
