Unlike contact fungicides that act exclusively on the leaf surface, the systemic mechanism of this preparation allows for rapid penetration into plant tissues. This is critical for protecting apple trees and grapevines during periods of active growth, when new shoots emerge faster than a standard re-application schedule can cover.

Mechanism of Action at the Cellular Level

The active ingredient blocks the biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungal cells. Ergosterol is a key component of the pathogen's cell membrane; without it, mycelial growth ceases, and sporulation becomes impossible. The product effectively halts the development of powdery mildew on apples and oidium on grapes, demonstrating both curative and protective effects when applied in a timely manner.
