Microbial Fertilizer "Baikal EM"

Microbial fertilizer "Baikal EM" is produced by the company TOV "KARAVAN", located in the city of Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. The preparation contains live cultures of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus casei 21 and Lactococcus lactis 47, photosynthetic bacteria Rhodopseudomonas palustris 108, as well as yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae 76. The preparation is used in agriculture to enhance soil fertility and improve plant growth. The preparation is used on various crops such as cereals, sunflower, corn, sugar beet, ornamental and vegetable crops, as well as for processing potatoes and organic materials. It can be used both on an industrial scale and for retail sale to the public. "Baikal EM" provides biological stimulation of plant growth, accelerates maturation, and restores the microbial flora. The preparation contributes to improving the physicochemical and biological properties of soil and increases the viability of bacteria upon inoculation.
