Bomet БД 2.0

Engineering insights into the Bomet БД 2.

The Bomet БД 2. disc harrow is a precision-engineered implement designed for efficient soil cultivation and seedbed preparation. The design philosophy centers on structural integrity, utilizing high-grade steel frames to withstand the rigorous torsional forces encountered during field operations.

Core Components and Operational Advantages

• Notched Disc Blades: The harrow employs notched, scalloped discs that provide superior cutting action. These blades are optimized for slicing through crop residues, which facilitates faster decomposition and better nutrient integration into the topsoil profile.
• Attack Angle Adjustability: The central pivot mechanism allows for precise adjustment of the disc gangs' angle. By tuning the attack angle, the operator can adapt the machine's penetration depth to match varying soil densities and moisture levels, ensuring a uniform finish across the field.
• Sealed Bearing Housings: To minimize maintenance downtime, the bearing assemblies are protected by heavy-duty dust seals. These components are critical for shielding the bearings from abrasive soil particles and debris, ensuring longevity even in harsh, dusty conditions.

From a practical standpoint, the Bomet БД 2. is exceptionally effective for shallow to medium-depth tillage. It creates an ideal tilth, promoting weed seed germination for subsequent control and preparing a firm, level seedbed. The machine's straightforward design ensures ease of operation and compatibility with a wide array of tractor horsepower, making it a reliable workhorse for small to medium-sized agricultural holdings.
