Bomet БД 1.8

A reliable partner for seedbed preparation

The Bomet БД 1. disc harrow is a classic solution for farms where the speed of soil preparation is crucial while maintaining soil structure. The unit was designed as a versatile tool for post-plowing operations, allowing the user to prepare a seedbed, break down clods, and level the field surface in a single pass.

Key use cases

• Early spring moisture retention: intensive shredding of the top layer prevents the evaporation of moisture accumulated during winter.
• Crop residue management: the harrow excels at incorporating organic matter into the soil, accelerating decomposition and preparing the field for winter crops.
• Seedbed preparation: thanks to precise depth adjustment of the discs, the Bomet БД 1. ensures an ideal soil structure for drills, preventing soil compaction.

Unlike heavy disc harrows, this model is gentle on the soil profile, crumbling rather than flipping the soil layers. This makes it indispensable for farmers using minimum tillage technologies or working on erosion-prone land. A durable frame combined with high-quality steel discs allows the unit to perform on challenging soils, maintaining consistent working depth even on uneven terrain.

Field experience confirms that this unit requires minimal maintenance. The simple design reduces the risk of breakdowns during peak season, and the availability of genuine spare parts from the manufacturer, Bomet, ensures the equipment is always ready for the field. It is an excellent choice for those seeking a balance between equipment cost and high-quality soil cultivation.
