БДТ 2.5

Engineering Analysis of the BDT 2.

The BDT 2. series disc harrows are heavy-duty trailed implements designed for resource-saving tillage. The construction is built on a high-rigidity frame architecture, engineered for operation with 3-4 traction class tractors. The primary objective of this unit is intensive crop residue shredding and the creation of an optimal topsoil structure without soil inversion.

Key Structural Components

• Disc Sections: The use of spherical notched discs made from wear-resistant boron steel ensures aggressive soil penetration, even in dry, compact stubble fields. The adjustable gang angle allows for fine-tuning of the soil fragmentation degree.
• Support Frame: The frame is constructed from thick-walled profiles, which is critical for maintaining stability at high operational speeds. Even weight distribution across the entire working width prevents the implement from bouncing on uneven field surfaces.
• Bearing Assemblies: The BDT 2. features sealed bearing units, protected against the abrasive effects of dust and moisture. This design minimizes daily maintenance requirements and extends service intervals during heavy seasonal operations.

The practical value of the BDT 2. lies in the optimal balance between weight per disc and working width. The increased load on each cutting element allows for confident performance when processing heavy corn or sunflower residue, ensuring uniform mixing with the topsoil. This facilitates accelerated organic matter degradation and moisture retention, providing a solid foundation for successful crop establishment.
