Adults exhibit a characteristic dark body coloration with a reticulated pattern on the head and pronotum. Their wings are fringed with long hairs, enabling active flight and dispersal within the canopy.
Larvae are typically lighter in color than the adults, highly mobile, and undergo several developmental stages, including pro-nymph and nymph stages, often occurring in the soil or under debris.
