F1 TSXA-28 has been introduced at the Vegetable Experimental Station named after V. I. Edelstein of MSXA. The breeders of the hybrid are employees of LLC 'Seed Selection and Seed Company 'Manul'. It is a main, medium-maturing, productive, bee-pollinated hybrid predominantly with female flowering type. Branching ranges from weak to medium. Zucchini length is 16-21 cm, white, complex, sparse hairs. In winter greenhouses, it enters fruiting stage on the 48-58th day after emergence. Yield on July 1 is 26-28 kg/sq. m, during the first month of fruiting — 4.5-11 kg/sq. m, in extended cropping — 32-37 kg/sq. m. It is shade-tolerant and exhibits lower heat requirement. During seedling stage, plant growth is slightly slower, so sowing should be conducted 3-7 days earlier than F1 Estafeta. The hybrid is resistant to olive spot and common cucumber mosaic virus, and relatively resistant to root rots.
