GARDENA EH 600/36 Motor Cultivator

Field test: GARDENA EH 600/36 in action

When you take the GARDENA EH 600/36 out for a spin, the first thing you notice is the German approach to ergonomics. The machine doesn’t fight you; it dives smoothly into the soil, which is a real lifesaver when working on tougher or clay-heavy patches. The power output is well-calibrated for weeding and preparing beds, maintaining consistent torque without struggling under load.

Maintenance and reliability

Operating this model is straightforward. Accessing the air filter or checking the fuel levels doesn't require a master’s degree in mechanics—everything is designed for quick, hassle-free maintenance. Fuel consumption is quite efficient; you can easily cover a standard garden plot without needing to refill constantly. Keep an eye on belt tension and ensure the tines stay free of weeds, and you'll find the power transmission remains smooth throughout the season.

Why it stands out for the operator:

• The handle design effectively dampens vibrations, preventing that annoying «buzzing» sensation in your hands after a long day.
• Center of gravity is spot on: you don't need to wrestle the machine when you're making turns at the end of a row.
• Maneuverability is excellent, allowing for precise work around shrubs and garden structures.

This isn't a machine that needs constant tinkering. With basic oil changes and regular cleaning, the GARDENA EH 600/36 proves to be a dependable workhorse that won't let you down during the peak planting season.
