  • Medium-maturing hybrid of winter onion of Japanese type
  • Sowing: mid-late August — early September
  • Marketable bulb forms in mid-late June of the following year (10-12 days after hybrid Wolf F1 ripening)
  • Intended for early production for fresh market (on bunch (half-bulb), as well as for marketable onion with storage potential)
  • Plant is very vigorous, with well-developed upright dark-green leafy canopy, strong waxy coating, and robust root system
  • From mid-May rapidly forms round-shaped bulbs, uniform, bronze-brown, with thin neck, 75-85 mm in diameter, weighing 160-200 g
  • Has good resistance to spring bolting, and very high cold tolerance in winter (down to -28 °C)
  • Adapted to cultivation in all soil-climatic conditions of Ukraine, best results achieved in Southern Ukraine using drip irrigation systems
  • Recommended sowing rate: marketable bulb — 1.0-1.5 million seeds per hectare; half-bulb — 2.5-3.0 million seeds per hectare; full bulb — 4.0-6.0 million seeds per hectare
