Lemken Rubin 9/300

Engineering Excellence for Intensive Soil Tillage

The Lemken Rubin 9/ compact disc harrow stands as a benchmark for intensive stubble cultivation and seedbed preparation. The primary objective of this model is to ensure optimal mixing of crop residues with soil at depths of up to 15 cm, a critical factor in preventing pathogen development and accelerating organic matter mineralization.

The Secret to Superior Fragmentation

At the heart of the Lemken Rubin 9/’s performance are its 620 mm diameter, 6 mm thick scalloped discs. The increased diameter ensures consistent operation even in high-trash conditions, while the symmetrical disc arrangement eliminates lateral drift, resulting in lower fuel consumption and reduced tractor wear. With a 20-degree attack angle and 16-degree tilt angle, the discs provide positive soil penetration even in challenging, dry-hardened fields.

Structural Durability and Maintenance

• Overload Protection: Each disc is mounted on an individual arm with heavy-duty spring dampers. This allows individual discs to deflect over obstacles like stones or roots without compromising the frame’s integrity.
• Maintenance-Free Hubs: The bearing assemblies feature angular contact ball bearings protected by reliable cassette seals. The practical result is the elimination of daily greasing requirements, which is essential during peak seasonal operations.
• Roller Versatility: The modular design allows for integration with various Lemken rollers, matching soil conditions from light sandy soils to heavy clay requiring intense reconsolidation via tube or flat bar rollers.

The Lemken Rubin 9/ is engineered for high-speed performance (up to 15 km/h), transforming stubble into a perfectly leveled surface ready for planting. It is an essential tool for the professional farmer who prioritizes operational efficiency and rapid moisture retention immediately following harvest.
