Highly effective insecticide from the group of synthetic pyrethroids with contact-stomach action
Active substance Alpha-cypermethrin, 100 g/l
Form of preparation Emulsion concentrate
Spectrum of application Winter wheat, cabbage, apple trees, sugar beet, pea, rapeseed, potato
Main advantages
Rapid and long-lasting action on pests regardless of their developmental stage
Effective at all insect developmental stages
Non-phytotoxic when applied at recommended doses
Applied in small doses, practically eliminating any possible negative ecological effect
Modern formulation components reliably retain the active substance on plant surfaces and provide extended protection period
Prevents quantitative and qualitative yield losses due to harmful insects
Well compatible with other pesticides
Non-toxic to plants and safe for the environment.
For achieving high efficacy, treatment is best conducted when pest population reaches the economic threshold of damage. Uniform coverage of plants with working solution is one of the main requirements. On hot days with temperature above +25 ºC, the product's efficacy is reduced, therefore it is best applied in early morning or evening hours under dry, windless weather (air temperature not exceeding +25 ºC). «Fox» is compatible with many pesticides, except alkaline mixtures. To prevent resistance development, it is recommended to alternate its use with insecticides of other chemical classes, for example systemic or hormonal insecticides.
When applied at recommended doses, it is safe for mammals and birds. It can be applied to agricultural crops during flowering.
Time before personnel can return to treated areas after mechanized or manual work — 4 days.
Maximum number of applications — 2.
* — maximum number of applications — 1.
Mode of action
The product exhibits clearly expressed contact-stomach action. It affects the nervous system of insect pests, disrupts cell membrane permeability, and blocks sodium channels. Causes paralysis of central and peripheral nervous systems.
Spectrum of activity
On cereals — fleas, cereal bugs, wheat thrips, aphids, lice, cicadas;
on pea — pea weevil, thrips, aphids;
on sugar beet — aphids, lice, longhorn beetles;
on cabbage — cabbage moth, caterpillars, bilan;
on rapeseed — rapeseed flower beetle, lice;
on fruit trees — fruit moths, leafrollers.
Compatibility with other products
Herbicide is compatible with most pesticides in tank mixtures. However, compatibility must be checked in each specific case.
WHO classification: Class II (moderately hazardous).
