Comprehensive crop protection: the experience with Record Quadro

When you start the season, the stakes are always high. Securing the foundation of a future harvest is all about protecting seeds and seedlings. By using "Record Quadro" from the Cherkasy-based "Fabryka Ahrokhimikativ", I manage two critical tasks at once: eliminating soil pests and controlling a complex of diseases. This solution saved me from having to use "cocktail" schemes, where you mix different products and risk incompatibility issues.

How it works

The secret to its efficacy lies in the combination of active ingredients. Four components work here simultaneously: neonicotinoids (acetamiprid and imidacloprid) combined with oxathiins (carboxin) and triazoles (epoxiconazole). In the field, this means that as soon as the seed hits the soil, it is surrounded by a protective barrier. Wireworms, ground beetles, or cereal flies perish when they try to "taste" the grain, while the systemic action reliably blocks the development of root rots and powdery mildew at early stages.

Practical application

• Consumption and logistics: A standard application rate of 0.4–0.5 L/t allows for cost-efficient work. The suspension concentrate is stable, does not settle, and does not clog the nozzles of seed treating machines, which is crucial during the peak of the planting season.
• Situation control: Thanks to the synergy of contact and systemic action, the product does not just "treat"—it works proactively. Seed molding, which often claims up to 10% of germination during cold and wet springs, is effectively neutralized here.
• Safety: The 3rd hazard class is standard for agrochemicals; we operate using normal protective gear for skin and respiration, without any specific extra restrictions.

I only need one application per season. This is enough for the crop to confidently pass the tillering stage without being hindered by early threats. For wheat, barley, and corn, this is the optimal choice in terms of price-to-result from a local manufacturer that understands our soil specifics.
