Punto Extra

Systemic Protection for Modern Agriculture

Punto Extra, manufactured by Shandong Weifang Rainbow, is designed for field managers who require a reliable systemic solution against sucking and hidden pests. Based on Imidacloprid, this insecticide is absorbed into the plant’s vascular system, ensuring protection of the entire plant, including new growth that develops after application.

Practical Field Application

Available as water-soluble granules, Punto Extra is easy to mix and highly compatible with standard sprayer equipment. Its practical utility covers several essential agronomic scenarios:

• Cereal Crops (Winter Wheat): Effective control of leaf beetles and cereal bugs. The systemic nature ensures protection even if the canopy is dense.
• Oilseeds (Rapeseed, Sunflower): Reliable prevention against aphids and thrips during the critical phases of crop establishment.
• Horticulture and Potatoes: Robust defense against the Colorado potato beetle and various pests in apple orchards and vineyards.

The primary advantage for the grower is the long-lasting effect, which minimizes the need for frequent repeat sprays. Given its Hazard Class 3 rating, it is a manageable product for field teams, provided standard safety protocols and pre-harvest intervals are strictly observed to ensure crop safety.
