When dealing with a complex pest infestation, there is no room for trial and error. The insecticide «Borey» from «ZAT Firma Avgust» (Vurnary) is a systemic tool we rely on to stop outbreaks in their tracks. Its dual-component formula (imidacloprid and lambda-cyhalothrin) provides a predictable knockdown effect, even under high pest pressure.

Field performance and application

The main advantage of «Borey» is its speed. Lambda-cyhalothrin acts as an immediate knockdown agent, causing pests to stop feeding almost instantly. Imidacloprid, meanwhile, is absorbed into the plant tissues, providing long-lasting systemic protection (up to 20–28 days). This is critical when protecting winter wheat from shield bugs or rapeseed from blossom beetles.

Key considerations for operators:

• Systemic action: The product effectively reaches hidden pests like cereal leaf beetles or weevils through its systemic mobility.
• Application flexibility: The suspension concentrate mixes easily. A dosage of 0.1–0.2 l/ha allows for efficient logistics during spray operations.
• Safety and compliance: Classified as Hazard Class 2, the product requires strict adherence to safety protocols. We strictly observe the pre-harvest interval (20-28 days) to ensure no residues in grain or fodder.
