A new highly effective formulation of a well-known herbicide against annual broadleaf and grassy weeds on potatoes, tomatoes and carrots.
Metribuzin, 600 g/l
Concentrate suspension
The product is safe for bees when used at recommended application rates.
Zencor ® Liquid SC600 achieves equal, and sometimes even better, efficacy than when using Zencor ® WG 70, without increasing application rates. The liquid formulation enhances the activity of the active ingredient, improves the quality and stability of the working solution, and reduces the risk of sediment formation when preparing tank mixtures.
Spectrum of action
The product is highly effective against broadleaf weeds, for example, against chickweed (in early growth stages), blueweed, water lily, medicinal hawkweed, common ragwort, daisy, shepherd’s purse, portulaca, yellow burdock, field mustard, common chickweed, starwort, and others…
Zencor ® Liquid SC600 is also effective against grassy weeds, for example, against field bindweed, oats, common chickweed, birdseed grass, field grass, ryegrass, and others…
Application
SOYBEAN
Soil application before crop emergence:
on light soils: 0.5 l/ha
on medium and heavy soils: 0.5-0.7 l/ha
POTATOES
Soil application before crop emergence:
on light soils: 0.5-0.6 l/ha
on medium soils: 0.6-0.75 l/ha
on heavy soils: 0.75-1.1 l/ha
Or after emergence when plants are up to 5-10 cm tall: 0.5 l/ha
TOMATOES (seedless)
Application at the 4-6 leaf stage of the crop: 0.5 l/ha
or split application:
1) before crop emergence: 0.3 l/ha
2) during vegetative growth — application at the 4-6 leaf stage: 0.4-0.5 l/ha
TOMATOES (seeded)
Application to plants 10-15 days after transplanting seedlings into the soil: 0.5-0.7 l/ha
Caution! Do not use in greenhouses.
CARROTS
Application starting from the “pencil” stage: 0.3-0.5 l/ha
Do not use on light soils (with humus content less than 2%). It is recommended to apply a pre-emergence soil-active herbicide registered for use.
Selectivity
Zencor ® Liquid SC600 is well tolerated by most potato varieties. Under unfavorable conditions, some varieties may exhibit slight leaf bleaching. Therefore, for such varieties we recommend reducing the application rate and applying after weed emergence.
Seed producers can provide information on the resistance of individual varieties. For all crops, carefully follow application recommendations (application rates and restrictions).
At maximum application rates on soybeans, leaf bleaching may occur, but it disappears over time and does not negatively affect crop development and yield.
Effect on subsequent crops
After using Zencor ® Liquid, it is not recommended to sow: onions, celery, peppers, cabbage, lettuce, spinach, sugar beet, table beet, pumpkin, cucumber, melons, tobacco, rapeseed.
Do not sow onions, table and sugar beets in the following year under low humus content and alkaline pH — crucifers.
The risk to these crops increases under alkaline soil pH (pH > 7.5) and humus content less than 2%.
Advantages
compared to solid formulations (granules, powders)
No dust fraction.
No filter clogging.
Faster water solubility.
No foaming.
Better stability of the working solution.
Compatibility with liquid nitrogen fertilizers.
Water body protection
Do not allow the product, its residues, empty containers, and packaging to enter water bodies.
Zencor ® Liquid SC600 for post-emergence application mixes well with herbicides whose active ingredient is rimsulfuron (on crops where the latter is recommended). In this case, the dose of Zencor ® Liquid SC600 is 200-300 ml/ha depending on the tank-mix partner’s rate.
Caution! It is advisable to use the partner herbicide from the original manufacturer to avoid compatibility and phytotoxicity issues!
