Flint ® Star — a product containing the active substances trifloxystrobin from the strobilurin class with a mesosteminal mode of action and pyrimethanil from the anilopirimidine class with a systemic mode of action. Both active substances of the product complement each other ideally. The preventive effect of trifloxystrobin is enhanced by the strong curative properties of pyrimethanil. Both substances are capable of redistributing in the gas phase to parts of the plant not directly treated during application. Diverse modes of action make it unlikely for pathogens to develop resistance.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
Trifloxystrobin disrupts the respiration process in the mitochondria of pathogen cells. Pyrimethanil disrupts the biosynthesis of an essential amino acid — methionine.
ADVANTAGES
Combination of two active substances with fundamentally different modes of action prevents resistance.
Complete redistribution of the product — through the gas phase and via systemic action.
Flexible application with the possibility of extending intervals between treatments.
Preventive, curative, and antispore action.
Independence from temperature conditions.
