In modern intensive farming, choosing a fungicide is all about balancing speed, systemic action, and reliability. Triafer 250 SC, developed by the British company Fader Alliance Ltd. (with production facilities in the Netherlands and Poland), has become a go-to solution for our cereal crops and fodder beet protection strategy.

Systemic control of fungal threats

The core of this product is flutriafol, an active ingredient known for its excellent systemic mobility. Once applied, the fungicide quickly penetrates plant tissues, treating the infection from within. We have successfully used it to combat septoria, cercospora, powdery mildew, and rhynchosporium. It provides both contact surface protection and deep systemic curative effects, which is crucial when dealing with aggressive fungal outbreaks.

Field operation and maintenance

• Dosage flexibility: With a recommended consumption rate of 0.5–1.5 L/ha, you can adapt to the infection level. We usually apply lower doses for early-stage preventative care and increase the rate up to 1.5 L/ha for fields with high disease pressure.
• Ease of application: The suspension concentrate formulation is highly user-friendly. It mixes well in the tank without clogging spray nozzles, which keeps our spraying equipment running smoothly and reduces downtime during peak agricultural seasons.
• Regimen and safety: We strictly adhere to the 30-day pre-harvest interval to ensure safety. The product is effective with a maximum of two applications per season, providing a complete protective barrier for winter wheat, spring wheat, barley, rye, and fodder beet.

As a Class 3 hazard substance, Triafer 250 SC requires standard personal protective equipment during handling. However, the consistent results — seeing clean leaves and healthy plants even under high humidity conditions — confirm that it is a dependable choice for any farmer looking to safeguard their yield from fungal damage.
