Synergy of Azoxystrobin and Propiconazole

The fundamental efficacy of "Taler Duo" is based on a combination of two active ingredients from different chemical classes, effectively preventing the development of resistance in pathogens. Azoxystrobin, a strobilurin, blocks the mitochondrial respiration of fungal cells. Its key feature is a pronounced curative and anti-sporulant action, complemented by the ability to extend the photosynthetic activity of leaves (the "green leaf" effect).

Propiconazole is a systemic component from the triazole group. It penetrates plant tissues within 1–2 hours, providing a stop-effect for mycelium that is already developing. This combination allows for the control of not only primary infection foci but also protects new growth emerging after the application.

Technical Aspects of Protection

• Systemic and Contact Action: The product works on two levels simultaneously. Propiconazole moves through the xylem, protecting the plant from the inside, while azoxystrobin creates a protective screen on the leaf surface, preventing spore germination.
• Broad Spectrum Control: The formula is effective against various leaf spots (septoria, rhynchosporium, pyrenophora), rusts, and powdery mildew pathogens. In viticulture, the product is critical for combating downy mildew.
• Economic Feasibility: The dosage rate of 0.5 to 1.0 l/ha makes "Taler Duo" a flexible tool depending on the phytosanitary situation and the crop development stage.

The product is formulated as a suspension concentrate, which ensures stability of the working solution and optimal adhesion to the leaf surface. When adhering to the regulations (1–2 treatments per season), the product ensures crop preservation and quality, especially for crops with long growing seasons, such as winter cereals or sunflowers.

It is important to note that "Taler Duo" is classified under hazard class 3 and requires a waiting period of 20 to 40 days before harvest, which is necessary due to the sustained fungicidal activity within the plant tissues.
