Calcium-Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) – mineral fertilizer used for plant nutrition. It contains nitrogen at a concentration of 20.0–28.0%, calcium in the form of carbonate (CaCO3) in the range of 12.0–40.0%, and calcium oxide (CaO) from 4.0 to 22.0%, as well as magnesium in the form of oxide (MgO) – 6%. The fertilizer is intended for use on fields where corn and sugar beets are grown. It can also be used for sale to the general public. Calcium-Ammonium Nitrate has a granular form, ensuring ease of application and even distribution on the soil. It is suitable for use as a main fertilizer or as a supplementary application during plant growth. Since it contains calcium and magnesium, this ensures a balanced mineral content in the soil, promoting better root system development of plants. The fertilizer is registered in Ukraine under number 9394 as of December 23, 2015. The manufacturer is PJSC «RivneAzot», which provides high-quality products for agriculture.
