Unlike standard mineral salts, each nutrient granule is encased in a polymer membrane that regulates the diffusion of nutrients into the soil solution based strictly on moisture levels and substrate temperature.

The mechanics of the granule structure

The mineral complex provides balanced nutrition for ornamental crops while minimizing the risk of root burn.

• Extended Release: The granules eliminate salt concentration spikes, ensuring a steady, metered supply of nutrients—vital for sensitive ornamental species.
• Nutrient Efficiency: By significantly reducing nitrogen leaching (15-25%), the fertilizer optimizes nutrient uptake, making the 100–200 kg/ha application rate highly cost-effective.
• Compositional Stability: The optimized ratio of phosphorus (P2O5) and potassium (K2O) is engineered to stimulate root architecture development and improve tissue turgor, resulting in vibrant foliage color and prolonged flowering periods.

Application methodology

Using Basatop in ornamental horticulture requires an understanding of the crop's biological rhythm. A maximum of four applications per season allows for a complete nutritional cycle, ensuring consistent vegetative growth.
